32km novice race
The 32km Cooper Henderson novice cycle race, raced on Saturday at Prebbleton, was won by Jason Haggitt from Jason Stark, both riding off the seven minute mark.
The fastest time in the event was won by Grant Wengler off break, and junior fastest time won by Marcus Flack, of Woolston.
Lisa Gooding, of Hornby, riding off the seven minute, mark was first girl home with Angela Harneiss (Timaru), second.
