Tamaki officials meet
PA Auckland Senior officials of the Tamaki National Party electorate organisation held a special meeting on Tuesday evening. It was attended by, but not called by, the electorate chairman, Dr lan Shearer, who provoked a row at the party’s recent conference in Christchurch by raising queries about a loan to a party official.
When the meeting ended at 10.20 p.m. Dr Shearer and others declined to comment on what happened or on whether he will face censure or other action at the electorate’s regular monthly meeting on Monday. Dr Shearer said, “W’e had a good discussion about electorate matters ”
