Canty at full strength
Canterbury will be at full strength for its national championship rugby match against Otago at Carisbrook tomorrow.
The team, unchanged from that which beat Marlborough last week, is: Robbie Deans; Joe Leota, Vic Simpson, Craig Green; Warwick Taylor, Wayne Smith; Bruce Deans; Dale Atkins; Don Hayes (captain), Andy Earl, Albert Anderson, Jock Hobbs; Chris Earl, John Buchan, Murray Davie. Reserves: Wayne Burleigh,
Colin Williamson, Alan Lindsay; Brett Dixon, Tony Thorpe, David Reid. The Christchurch fullback, Rod Latham, has withdrawn from the squad. Latham, who filled in at full-back for Robbie Deans,in the early part of the season, has always been intent on finishing with rugby when the club season ended, to concentrate on his buildup for the coming cricket season.
