Disqualified driving
PA Tauranga A third driving disqualified conviction this year earned a man a prison sentence when he appeared before Judge Blackwood in the District Court at Tauranga on Wednesday. Tipene Kura Tamiahana, aged 23, a labourer, of Te Puke, was sentenced to three months jail to be followed by a year’s probation and treatment for alcohol abuse, and a year’s disqualification from driving from April 30, 1986.
