Women’s rugby
Suburbs and Linwood recorded wins in the Christchurch women’s rugby competition at the week-end. . Suburbs were 7-0 winners over Albion with Tricia Laird kicking a penalty and flanker, , Tracy Grainger, scoring a try. Linwood beat Varsity 8-0 with tries to Helen McDonald and Leanne Woodgate.
