The last of the Mt Pleasant Yacht Club’s April to June Mahan Marine winter series races were held last Sunday. Results.— 470 class: Nigel Merrett and Tom Histon 1, Jack Tregear and Neville England 2, Gary England and Paul Duder 3. Boardsailers: A. Donaldson 1, P. Hayward 2. Starlings: D. Forsythe 1. P class: M. Howell 1, H. Hay 2, M. Woodley 3. Overall.—47o: Merrett and Histon. Boardsailers: Donaldson. Starling: Forsythe. P class: Howell 1, G. Simpson 2. The club is to play host to an officer from tne Meteorological Service this Sunday who will speak on wind and weather in the Canterbury area.
