N.Z. cross-country team named
PA Wanganui Wanganui High School’s national champion, Martin Holmes, is included in the New Zealand Secondary Schools’ cross-country team”
The 12-strong team was named by the N.Z. Secondary Schools’ Athletic Association which hopes to arrange an internal race for the team. The team is:
Boys: Martin Holmes (Wanganui High), Alan Bruce (Southland Boys’ High), Duane Humphries and Richard Lambert (Shirley Boys’
McConkey (Palmerston North Boys’ High), Robbie Johnston (Otago Boys’ High). Reserves: Simon Yock (Kings’ College), Neil Sargieson (Hastings Boys’ High). Girls: Tracey Kennedy (Kingswell High), Sonia Barry (New Plymouth Girls’ High), Andrea Stuart (Aotea College), Michelle Dravitski (Wanganui Sacred Heart), Jenny Langton (Kamo High), Tina Sharpe (Rangiora High). Reserves: Michelle Miller (Wellington Girls’ College), Julie Alley (Awatapu College).
