Cricket abandoned
NZPA-Reuter Derby The four-day cricket match between Australia and Derbyshire was abandoned as a draw on the third day yesterday when rain washed out play for the second consecutive day.
A one-day match of 55 overs a side has been arranged to give the Australians some match practice before the first one-day international at Old Trafford. Scores: Australia five for 278.
