Business tips for artists
Artists wanting basic business know-how will be able to get help at a Christchurch Community Arts Council seminar next week. Information on financial management, contracts, partnerships, copyright law, and co-operatives will be included in the free seminar. It will be at the Arts Centre, in the uppfer common room, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on February 12. Guest speakers will include Mr Gary Moore, a youth advisory officer in the ■lnternal Affairs Department, Mr David Winterbourn, an accountant, and Ms Diana Shirtcliff, a lawyer with a special interest in art law.
