Two share yacht lead
Linwood High School No. 2 and St Andrew’s College share the lead for the Peter Mander Trophy, the premier intersecondary schools yachting contest, with one race to sail. The St Andrew’s pair of Richard Seddon and David Rentoul sailed Claymore to victory in the third heat on the Estuary on Saturday. Linwood’s No. 1 crew (K. France and S. Thompson) was second, and the No. 2 pair (J. Hay and J. Prisk) was third. The leaders both have 7.75 points.
