Four players picked
Four Canterbury players have been chosen in the Junior Kiwi rugby league team to travel to Perth in early October. They are Richard Setu, Hami Shelford and Michael Stewart, all from Hornby, and Darren Twist, from
Halswell. The manager will be Barry Pidcock, of Christchurch. The Junior Kiwis leave Auckland on October 4, have matches against open-aged sides on October 7 and 10, and return to New Zealand on October 12.
