Waipawa stamp
A pictorial date stamp will be used at Waipawa, 'Hawke’s Bay, on June 8, to mark the 125th anniversary of the town. The date stamp design features the Waipawa clock tower. Anyone not attending the anniversary celebration but wishing to have covers cancelled with the date stamp should forward their stamped addressed envelopes, under separate cover, to reach the Postmaster at Waipawa by June 6. The outer wrapper should be endorsed “125th Anniversary of Waipawa Covers.”
