It Is also responsible for the teaching of chemistry to engineering, fisheries and forestry students and for the operation of the university’s national analysis laboratory. The Department operates a food processing laboratory in partnership with the Department of Primary industry. There are 15 academic staff as well as technical and professional staff working In the Department.
