THE PAPUA NEW GUINEA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT OF CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY SENIOR LECTURER/ ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR THE Department of Chemical Technology offers B.Sc. degree courses in applied chemistry, food technology and mineral technology. It Is also responsible for the teaching of chemistry to engineering, fisheries and forestry students and for the operation of the university’s national analysis laboratory. The Department operates a food processing laboratory in partnership with the Department of Primary industry. There are 15 academic staff as well as technical and professional staff working In the Department. Applications are invited for the position of Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in applied chemistry. The Department is particularly looking for applicants with several years of Industrial experience in government or commercial laboratories. Teaching experience is desirable. Duties include taking a major part in the development and leadership of teaching in the Department as well as participating in research and administration of the Department.
