Denial of every basic precept
Mrs J. E. H. Wilson: The article on Professor Geering was a waste of space. He fails to reconcile any of his disbeliefs with his claim to be a Christian. He manages to deny every basic precept of Christianity, such as the “sonship” of Jesus Christ, the resurrection, eternal life, and the virgin birth. He also ignored the subject of sin and forgiveness, which is one of the
major precepts ot Christianity. What puzzles me is why Professor Geering labels himself as a Christian while disagreeing with the basic truths on which Christianity is based.
