The promise of God
A. Delhanty: I fail to see why Professor Geering is so reluctant to believe in the intelligible, clearly defined Scriptures regarding the resurrection. He hardly believes anything positive about Christianity but he still calls himself a Christian. He discredits the essential fundamental teachings of Christianity — the promise of eternal life for those who believe in Christ. Yesterday, I bought six daffodil bulbs for planting in my garden vase. There is no sign of life now, but in due season I shall expect an array of blooms. Jesus said to Martha, at the death of her brother, "Thy brother shall rise again.” This is the promise of God to all believers.
