Chatham Cup draw
Shamrock and Woolston W.M.C. have been drawn to meet in the crunch tie of the second round Adidas Chatham Cup soccer matches on May 12. Of the eight matches involving teams from the Canterbury region, three are between teams in the Hertz League. Apart from the Shamrock-Woolston game, Western will play Rangers and South Canterbury United will meet Cashmere-Wanderers. The six teams have al-
ready met in southern league competition this season, with Shamrock, Rangers and Cashmere having recorded wins. The full draw, with home teams listed first, is: Burndale United v. Riccarton, Kaiapoi v. St Albans-Shir-ley, New Brighton v. Technical, Halswell v. High School Old Boys, Rangiora v. Nomads, Shamrock v. Woolston W.M.C., South Canterbury v. Cashmere and Western v. Rangers.
