Judo boys leave
Four Canterbury judo players left Christchurch yesterday as part of the New Zealand team for the United States schoolchildren’s open tournament in Honolulu. Shane Le Compte (Cob-
berkwai), aged 14, is the baby of the team, and the other Christchurch members are Brenda Leftly, aged 16, Mark Muir, aged 17, and John Rawiri, aged 16, all from the Can-Am-Ju club.
