Lister wins snooker
Peter Lister (Papanui W.M.C.) beat Doug Allen (Richmond W.M.C.) three frames to one in the final of the Canterbury C grade snooker championship on Sunday. The win was some compensation for Lister who was beaten by Doug Elliott (New Brighton R.S.A.) in the C grade billiards final recently.
