Foremen (Newlands), unanimous. M. Nicol (Manawatu) beat T. Whitehead (Wainuiomata), majority. Light heavyweight: A. Hakaraia (Manawatu) beat A. Leasio (Dods Gym), majority. Featherweight: G. Jago (Heretaunga) beat J. Uatuku (Masterton), unanimous. Light middleweight: K. Bullock (Riverside) beat S. Nicol (Manawatu), majority.
Light welterweight: M. Sullivan (Auckland) beat A. Mitchell (United States); Mitchell retired hurt in the first round. Middleweight: J. Ranudi (Fiji) beat K. Larson (United States), unanimous. Featherweight: D. Contreras (United States) beat V. Waiwalui (Fiji), unanimous. Light heavyweight: A. McNamara (Nelson) beat C. Simms (United States), majority. Welterweight: A. loane (Heretaunga) beat M. Johnson (United States), unanimous. Middleweight: W. Mangin (Manawatu) beat L. T. Smith (United States), unanimous.
