Senior vice-president
PA Wellington Sonny Sciascia, of Horowhenua, was elected senior vice-president of the union. In a vote which went to the third ballot, Mick Pittaway (West Coast) was
chosen junior vice-president over Pat Beaumont (Otago). Sciascia was junior vicepresident last year. The former senior vicepresident, Murray Strange (Nelson-Bays) was elected president, replacing Noel Stanley.
