Advice on beer
Sir,—Can it be true that Lion Breweries is importing a beerbrewing expert from the United States? Isn’t New Zealand beer bad enough already? Surely it would make more sense to bring in some real beer-brewing experts from Belgium or Germany, a real ale expert from Britain. It is time we had something better to drink than “streamlined” continuous fermentation - processed - caramel - added liquid. — Yours, etc., C. HARTE. February 27, 1984.
