Ambulance service busy
The St John Ambulance service was kept busy in Canterbury with three accidents late last evening.
A man was taken to hospital with moderate head and leg injuries after an accident at the corner of Ellesmere Junction and Swamp Roads just before 11 p.m. yesterday.
About half an hour later another man was taken to hospital with moderate head injuries after an accident at the corner of Breezes Road and Pages Road in Christchurch.
Two people were also treated after an accident in the Lake Sumner area.
