United wins softball

The final of the inaugural Robert Brown Albion men’s softball classic at Middleton Park yesterday was won by A.G.C. United which beat Wilson Neill Richmond, 16-4.

The Albion tournament was played over three weeks with eight teams competing for prizemoney totalling $2300. The final, convincingly won by United, was not without incident. At the top of the first innings, United’s Tony
