Return to work at Marsden
PA Whangarei Normal work will resume on the Marsden Point oil refinery expansion tank farm on Monday. The 13 striking riggers employed by Chicago Bridge and Iron, agreed yesterday morning to return to work, opening the way for the reinstatement of 23 other workers suspended because of the strike. C. 8.1. officials had said that the entire tank farm work-force of 130 people would have been laid off by Christmas if the riggers had not returned.
