‘Antiracism week’ ends

The New Zealand antiapartheid movement, HART, designated this week as national anti-racism week. In its role as a provoker and initiator of debate and discussion at all levels in New Zealand society on the issue of racism, HART organised a week of activities, which ends tomorrow. A Rock against Racism concert will be held tomorrow, featuring local bands with a commitment to the fight against racism. They include They Were Expendable, Horizin’, Red Gumboot and Not Really Anything. The concert will be held in the Great Hall at the Arts Centre from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow.
