Protection of Prince
Sir,—After our Government taking the necessary precautions to ensure young Prince William’s safety and well-being while travelling in cars in New Zealand, I was shocked and amazed to see on a news item from England, where Nanny Barnes quickly got into the front seat of an awaiting car with the future King of England sitting on her lap. Was I mistaken? Or is it just that New Zealand is more aware of the dangers of travelling unprotected in vehicles than is Britain. — Yours, etc.,
