Infertility clinic
Sir. — We commend the North Canterbury Hospital Board's welcome, if tardy, interest in the infertility clinic at Christchurch Women's Hospital. It is indeed distressing that couples suffering from the humiliating disability of infertility should have to discuss their intimate lives inside curtained cubicles within earshot of other doctors, nurses and patients. We look forward to the prospect of an improved clinic which could offer the most comprehensive fertility treatment in Christchurch. — Yours, etc., D. WYNN-WILLIAMS.
