The economy
Sir. - The Prime Minister is certainly consistent in his incorrect forecast on economic matters. Last year he predicted that the world monetary system would collapse by the end of the year; then he thought that it might be this year. His latest pearls of wisdom were that it could go one of two ways, so he must finally get it right for once. A lot of us believe that this collapse will eventually happen anyway, but he will still be the one to say, I told you so. As for his picking on poor old Dennis Lillee, this is pure Muldoon law of the jungle: sort out the oldest and weakest of the mob and harry him until you can drag him down. — Yours, etc., A. J. GREEN.
