Beer flow dries up
Production of beer at the Lion brewery in Christchurch stopped yesterday when 24 brewery workers were suspended and 46 others walked off the site in protest. The company issued suspension notices when the brewery workers refused to loadout any beer from Thurs-
day. The workers look action in protest at the non-replace-ment of a worker who resigned recently. The company said oh Thursday that liquor outlets had good supplies of beer in stock.
