Crash kills N.Z. soldier
PA Singapore A New Zealand serviceman. Private Anthony Lundon. was killed in a car crash near his base in Singapore, said a military spokesman yesterday. The spokesman said Private Lundon. aged 21, of Auckland. died instantly when his car crashed into a lamp post and overturned on Tuesday night. Eight pedestrians were also injured in the accident. The body of Private Lundon. who was attached to the Ist Battalion. Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment, based in Singapore, would be flown to Auckland, the spokesman said.
