Lone Hand retired
Special correspondent Palmerston North Lone Hand has been retired.
The well-performed stayer received a knock while contesting the Summer Handicap on the second day at Trentham. The injury left him on the easy list and down, than risk a bad breakthrough his trainer, Noel Eales, has decided to call it a dav with the veteran.
