Hawkins meeting
The directors of Hawkins Holdings. Ltd, are calling a meeting on February 28 to seek shareholders’ approval for a change of name to McConnell Dowell Corporation, Ltd.
They belive that in view of the spread of the McConnell Dowell activities, in particular the well-established McConnell Dowell operation in Australia, it is more appropriate for the listed holding company of the group to carry the McConnell Dowell name.
All operating companies of the group, however, will continue to promote and market their services and skills and operate under their existing individual company names, they say.
