Firm in receivership
PA Auckland Information Systems International, Ltd, a : computer software supplier, has been put into receivership by the Westpac banking group. Its 25 staff have been dismissed. The receiver, Mr David Mace, said the- company owed “a significant amount of money.” He would not say exactly how much. The company owes money to the Development Finance Corporation, which: declined
to disclose the amount. Westpac also would not comment on the money owed to it. The company was established 12 years ago and since 1977 had a paid-up capital of $12,000. " ’ The Clerical Workers' Union is also interested in the closing. Mr Mace said no redundancy money could be paid by a receiver, who could pay only up to $2OOO to each worker in w r ages and holiday pay. t |
