Pay-fixing policy criticised by P.S.A.
PA Wellington New Government pay-fix-ing proposals have been condemned by the Public Service Association as a vicious attack on the rights of members. "The national executives, committee held a special ; meeting yesterday .to consider Government proposals to alter pay fixing in the slate sector. The vice-president, Mr . lan Pask, described the proposals as “a vicious attack on all State servants and one designed to reduce real incomes savagely in the near future,” ' : The committee agreed to support the Combined State Union’s opposition to the ‘ changes.
