Christmas appeal
Envelopes will be sent to every Christchurch household for the 1982 Christmas appeal organised by the National Council of Churches.
It is hoped to raise $500,000 in the national appeal which will be run by more than 1000 churches from 12 denominations. Donors will be asked to consider the plight of- the starving, the sick and the homeless throughout the world.
