PA Auckland A former cashier yesterday admitted spending ¥l5OO of his employer’s money on Space Invaders machines. Setefano Tele, aged 21, a salesman, of Grey Lynn, pleaded guilty in the District Court at Auckland to a charge that between February 1 and October 26 he stole various sums of money, totalling $4282, belonging to his employer, Produce Markets Ltd. Sergeant Timothy Hughes said Tele had handled between $2OOO and $4OOO a

week as the company’s cashier. Over nine months Tele took sums of money, neglecting to record the stolen sums in the firm’s receipt book.
