U.S. Davis Cup squad
NZPA New York John McEnroe, Peter Fleming, Gene Mayer and Eliot Teltscher have been named as the U.S. Davis Cup squad that will face France in the 1982 final at Grenoble, France, the team captain, Arthur Ashe, announced yesterday. McEnroe will be appearing
in his fourth Davis Cup final. The United States was victorious in his three previous appearances. The matches, four singles and a double, will be played from November 26-28 indoors on clay. This is the United States’ fourth finals appearances in the last five years, having won in 1978, 1979 and 1981.
