Transvaal side on tour
NZPA Montevideo. Uruguay South Africa's Northern Transvaal rugby team began practice in Montevideo yesterday for a South American tour designed to "renew old friendships and help promote the sport,” said the side's manager, Sid Kingsley. The South Africans arrived
in Montevideo late on Tuesday and will play their first game today against Uruguay’s Old Christians. Tomorrow the team will leave for Asuncion. Paraguay, where it will meet a loca'l team on Saturday. Two more games are scheduled next week in Vina Del Mar, Chile.
