Police arrest five
The police were called to break up a big gathering of youths who were annoying picnickers at Spencer Park about 3.30 p.m. yesterday. A police spokesman said that four carloads of police arrived to find about 150
“mostly drunken” youths causing a disturbance. They soon dispersed after four youths and one young woman were arrested and charged with minor offences. There were no injuries, and no damage to property was reported.
