Harpoon missiles
Sir,-Your front-page article on Saturday, August 28, states that R.N.Z.A.F. Orions may be fitted with Harpoon anti-submarine missiles. The fact is that Harpoon is an all weather anti-shipping missile that can be either air or ship launched, and has a range of 70 miles. It does not have any anti-submarine capability.— Yours, etc.. J.
