The Canterbury A reserve and B grade badminton championships were played in the V. R. Skellerup Hall last week. The finals were played on Saturday night. Results were: RESERVE GRADE MEN Singles.—Semi-finals: R. Campbell beat L. Smith. 15-9. 15-1; N. Soper beat P. Dowell. 15-1. 15-7. Final: Campbell beat Soper, 15-8. 15-6. Doubles.—Semi-finals: L. Smith and R. Campbell beat P. Dowell and N. Soper. 15-5. 15-13: A. Drewett and M. Scutts beat M. Porter and D. Bell. 15-11. 16-17. 15-9. Final: Smith and Campbell beat Drewett and Scutts 13-18. 17-16. 15-3. Mixed doubles.-Semi-finals: R. Campbell and Mrs L. Bassett beat L. Smith and Mrs S. Goddard. 15-2. 15-12; D. Bell and Mrs B.
