• Sir—Christchurch can be counted fortunate to have such people as the businessman organising the new theme park at .Ferrymead. As with our Town Hall, public library, Queen Elizabeth II Park and pool and airport, we have the drive and ability to match any city in New Zealand. The amusement park and casino, etc., will be great additions to Christchurch, and I for one will be there on. a regular basis. Ferrymead, Christchurch and
the South Island have needed a boost for some time, and I hope this is the first of many needed things to do for Christchurch and our tourists. — Yours, etc., A. HILL. July 6, 1982.
