Amnesty International
Sir,—l am quite prepared to meet Kenneth Gray (May 29) and discuss his continued, criticism of Amnesty international. In the 21 years since its formation Amnesty International has been attacked by extremist governments and individuals of both the Left and the Right, accusing the organisation of political bias. In no case have these criticisms ever been validated but their continued and simultaneous utter-
ance from those with diametrically opposed views is in itself a tribute to Amnesty International's impartiality. - Yours, etc., CORAL BROADBENT, Secretary, Amnesty International Group 8. May 30, 1982.
