Big win to Watford
NZPA-Reuter Kuala Lumpur The English first division soccer side, Watford, which recently completed a threematch tour against New Zealand’s World Cup side, trounced a Malaysian selection. 6-1, in a match at the National Stadium, in Kuala Lumpur yesterday. Watford; 2-0 up at halftime through goals from the
wing. Nigel Callaghan, and the striker, Luther Blissett, tore the Malaysian defence apart in the.second half. The centre-forward, Jimmy Gilligan, added a third 'in the fifty-seventh minute, the substitute striker, David Johnson added two more in the eighty-first and eighty-fifth minutes and Blissett scored his second in injury time.
