PA Napier A mother and her three children were rescued by helicopter yesterday from the upper reaches of Ngaruroro River, near Napier, after their raft had capsized. The father, Mr Terry Freemantle, who was also on the raft, secured his wife, Lyneen Mary Freemantle, and their three children, aged 12, 11, and 7, on the riverbank before continuing down the river to seek help.
