Accident death
A man injured in an accident on Friday evening died in Christchurch Hospital yesterday afternoon. He was Peter Gerard Friel, aged 29, of 7 Reaby Street, Burwood.
The accident occurred at the corner of Harrow Street and Olliviers Road, Linwood, just after 11 p.m. on Friday. Ross Karl Marshall, aged 29, was admitted to Burwood Hospital with head injuries but has been discharged.
