Shed-fire investigation
The Christchurch C. 1.8. is investigating a shed fire at 225 Kilmore' Street, on the corner of Barbadoes Street, last evening. Three Fire Service appliances . from, headquarters were called to the blaze at 6.23 p.m. The shed, which was used for storage,.: was damaged extensively. "■ '»
Another two appliances were’sent to a house fire in Woodham Road at 8.10 p.m. Firemen had-some difficulty getting at the fire in the wall of a back room. Moderate damage was caused.
