Youth admits stabbing
PA Hamilton An unemployed youth who admitted stabbing and robbing a female taxi-driver was yesterday’ sent to the High Court for sentence. In the District Court at Hamilton Judge Millar said he considered the offence too grave for the lower court to handle. ' “The matters are so grave
that the charges and the question of penalties have to go before the High Court,” he said. He remanded William Benjamin Johnson, aged 16, of Hamilton, in custody until March 12 for sentence in the High Court. Johnson had previously appeared in the Children and Young Persons Court.
