Beatles

Several rare Beatles songs will be aired on the 8.8. C. next week, in a radio programme to mark the twentieth anniversary of the radio debut of the “Fab Four.” The songs date back to the days when they were playing at the Cavern, in Liverpool, and in Hamburg clubs. Material for the two hour show has been taken from radio archives. Twelve of the songs have never been commercially available. Others could have been heard by audiences at those clubs. The Beatles’ radio debut was on “Teenager’s Turn,” on March 9, 1962.
