Late entry fee paid
Capri, an impressive winner at Addington Raceway last week, will contest the remaining heats of the D.B. Flying Fillies’ Series.
Her owner-trainer, Cecil Devine, has paid the $5OO late entry fee, and said yesterday that he was considering taking the filly to Invercargill for the second South Island heat in the series. This race will be run on February 27.
The Stag, unbeaten in his last two starts, will not contest the Hampstead Handicap at Ashburton tomorrow. His trainer, Noel Edge, is reserving him for the metropolitan Trotting Club’s meeting next Wednesday.
